LARP HOUSE RE-PRESENTS: FAMILY BUSINESSWhat:
Family Business is an American Freeform about a family of con artists in the 1980s. The family’s leader has just been arrested so the members of the gang have to make sense of their changing relationships as the law breathes down their neck.
This larp was presented by the Larp House in 2013 and has been polished for a second run.
When:
6:30pm-12am Saturday June 7th
depending on interest, there may be a second run in the afternoon or evening of Saturday June 14th

WHAT GENRE:
Family crime drama.
Family Business is run in the DramaSystem, which isn’t a win or lose type of game. This system’s goal is dramatic storytelling about a close-knit group of people. Sometimes telling a great story involves characters who make decisions that are ultimately against their best interests! Players will portray flawed human characters expressing emotion to people they care about.
HOW DO I SIGN UP:
By sending Jon an e-mail at bndrks (symbol here)gmail starting 6:30PM Tuesday, May 27th. In the email include your top 2 choices for characters you’d like to play.
Sign ups will not be accepted before the appointed time. There will also be a Facebook event for announcements and such.

COSTUMING:
Costuming is encouraged for Family Business. Once you have been assigned a character you have free reign in selecting an outfit or props that match your vision of a 80’s criminal.
ACCESSIBILITY:
The play venue is a second story duplex, stair access only. Plenty of seating available. No A/C. Play may include depictions of familial betrayal, emotional abuse, and handguns. If you have an accessibility question or request please email Jon.
