Larp House Presents: Imposter Syndrome Workshop

Impostor Syndrome is the feeling that you’re a fraud, that you’re not skilled enough for a career, and that you will be found out and exposed as an impostor. More people than you realize–including experts you know and respect–have impostor syndrome.

In the Impostor Syndrome Workshop you will learn how impostor syndrome may be affecting your ambitions in the world of larp and the professional world. You will also learn what you can do individually and collectively to combat impostor syndrome in our gaming community.

WHEN:
3:00 pm — 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 5th
WHERE:
Rice Street Library in Saint Paul.There is nearby metro transit service from lines 3, 62, and 68.

REGISTRATION:
If you are interested in attending the workshop, fill out the Impostor Syndrome Workshop Registration Form before 11:59 pm on Saturday, November 28th. You should know if you are in or out of the workshop by Monday, November 30th.

ACCESSIBILITY:
The venue is a meeting room in a public library. Plenty of seating available. Central AC and heat. Building meets all Federal accessibility standards.

CONTENT WARNING:
The workshop is open to the public, and those from the library and surrounding neighborhood are able to attend without pre-registering through the Larp House. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a conversation about impostor syndrome and how it affects their lives and communities. There will be voluntary exercises to combat internal and external causes of impostor syndrome.
