Story
In the remote reaches of known space, Mozog Station was founded by the centralized Core government to study a mysterious wormhole that opens every 12 years. But with the recent collapse of the Core, funding has dried up, and the remaining scientists and residents of the station find themselves in peril as the station’s orbit around the nearby sun rapidly deteriorates. During the wormhole’s opening period, a supply carrier delivers what may be the final shipment. After a meteorite hits the station, driving it further out of orbit, the isolationist station denizens are forced to decide whether their home can be saved or must be abandoned. What lies in the nebula beyond the wormhole, and what will happen as Mozog Station careens out of control?
Play Style
Like all Larp House events, this larp is intended to be accessible to first time role-players. Though the setting and story of this larp are inspired by Star Trek, no prior knowledge or experience with that franchise is needed to have a good time.
This is a “litform” larp with precast characters, complicated character relationships, and conflicting goals. You’ll have wide latitude in how you pursue your character’s objectives, for example you might keep your secrets to yourself or confide in an ally to gain their trust. The scenario has a variety of possible endings, so you’re encouraged to play boldly and generously and see where we take the story together.
There are a few simple mechanics to mediate violence between characters, locked doors, coming of age rituals.
Content Notice
This larp has a relatively light tone in it’s portrayal of science fiction mystery and drama. You can expect to talk about or see representations of perilous space disasters, brandished phaser props, betrayal and murder, or interact with themes of mental health, parasites, and civil war.
Costuming
No costuming is needed, though if you’d like to wear something that makes you feel like a you’re living a few hundred years in the future, go right ahead!
Covid policy
N95 respirators or better are required for everyone at this event, and we will have a few to share.
We strongly recommend all attendees get the fall 2025 covid vaccine before attending this event. The Minnesota Department of Health has stated that in Minnesota you don’t need a reason or to be at extra risk to receive this important annual vaccination.
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, stay home. If you are able to, take a rapid test before arrival. Please reach out if you have any questions about our policy.

Other Information
Calibration and Consent Tools
We’ll discus and practice how to check-in and slow down as needed before play begins.
Following play, we will debrief our experiences and shed the roles we assumed for the game. The debrief is encouraged but not required.
Social
After the larp some folks will get food together on Himalayan Restaurant‘s spacious patio and otherwise continue to be social even if you don’t want to eat. Hanging out afterwards is totally optional, and we think it’s fun to get to know your fellow players as people, not just as their characters.
Accessibility
Our venue is climate controlled. Our play space has plenty of seating, and is located on the lower level, accessible by elevator. The main entrance has double doors that can be opened by button-push, there are two accessible restrooms on the main level. The lower level has restroom access (not equipped with accessible entrance button).
No food will be provided. Water will be available, and we recommend bringing a water bottle for your ease of access.
Please reach out if you’ve got any accessibility questions or to request accommodations.
Minors
This larp might be appropriate for a someone under 18 years old, depending on their prior roleplaying experience or interest in science fiction. Since Larp House is a group of volunteers without a legal entity, we require a parent or guardian to attend alongside any minor who’d like to participate. By all means reach out if you are unsure if this larp is a good fit for your child.
